Nerf gun
Soft dart launcher
A Nerf gun is a toy blaster that fires soft foam darts or balls, made by the Nerf brand.
The projectiles are designed to be harmless, making them popular for indoor play and mock battles: The kids had a Nerf gun war in the basement.
Nerf gun has become somewhat generic for any foam-dart toy, regardless of brand.
