Naxos

Largest Cycladic island

Naxos is the largest island of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea, part of Greece.

In Greek mythology, it was where Theseus abandoned Ariadne after she helped him escape the Minotaur's labyrinth.

The island is known for its marble quarries, ancient ruins, and as a center of the worship of Dionysus.
