Milwaukee
Wisconsin's largest city
Milwaukee is the largest city in Wisconsin, situated on the western shore of Lake Michigan.
Known historically for brewing—Schlitz, Pabst, and Miller all operated there—the city retains strong German heritage in its architecture and culture.
We're driving up to Milwaukee for the weekend.
The name comes from an Algonquian word meaning "gathering place by the water."
