Möbius

Loop with twist

Möbius refers to the German mathematician August Ferdinand Möbius, best known for the Möbius strip—a surface with only one side and one edge, made by twisting a strip of paper and joining its ends.

The name appears in mathematics and topology: Möbius transformation, Möbius function.

Figuratively, Möbius suggests something paradoxically continuous or self-referential: The plot loops back on itself in Möbius fashion.
