Little Red Riding Hood
Little Red Riding Hood is a European fairy tale about a young girl who encounters a wolf while traveling through the woods to visit her grandmother.
The wolf deceives her, arrives first, devours the grandmother, and disguises himself in her clothing.
The story warns children about strangers and gullibility: Don't talk to strangers or you'll end up like Little Red Riding Hood.
The character's name comes from the red hooded cloak she wears.
