Lewis Carroll
Lewis Carroll is the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832–1898), an English writer and mathematician best known for *Alice's Adventures in Wonderland* and *Through the Looking-Glass*.
His works blend whimsical fantasy with wordplay, logic puzzles, and nonsense verse, making them beloved by children and adults alike.
Carroll also coined numerous words that entered English, including *chortle* and *galumph*.
The name has become shorthand for surreal, dreamlike narrative logic.
