Leonard Nimoy
Leonard Nimoy was an American actor, director, and writer best known for playing Spock on *Star Trek*—the logical, half-Vulcan science officer whose raised-eyebrow delivery and "Live long and prosper" salute became cultural touchstones.
Beyond Trek, Nimoy directed films, published poetry, and pursued photography.
He died in 2015.
