Jules Verne

Jules Verne was a French novelist of the nineteenth century, widely considered the father of science fiction.

His adventure novels—*Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea*, *Journey to the Center of the Earth*, *Around the World in Eighty Days*—imagined submarines, space travel, and other technologies before they existed.

He writes like Jules Verne, all fantastic voyages and scientific speculation.
