Jersey Shore refers to the Atlantic coastline of New Jersey, a popular summer destination known for its boardwalks, beaches, and resort towns like Atlantic City and Seaside Heights.
The term gained broader cultural currency from the MTV reality show (2009–2012) featuring Italian-American housemates, which made GTL (gym, tan, laundry) and guido culture nationally visible.
