Hawkwoman
Avian female warrior
Hawkwoman is a DC Comics superheroine, the female counterpart to Hawkman.
Like him, she typically wields ancient weapons and flies using wings made of Nth metal.
Various versions exist across DC's continuity—most commonly Shayera Hol, a police officer from the planet Thanagar.
The character has appeared in comics since 1961 and in animated series including *Justice League*.
