Gomorrah

Destroyed twin city

Gomorrah is one of two cities (with Sodom) destroyed by God in the Hebrew Bible for the wickedness of their inhabitants.

The name appears almost exclusively in the phrase Sodom and Gomorrah, which has become shorthand for any place of vice and depravity: The preacher called Las Vegas a modern Sodom and Gomorrah.
