sodomite
Gomorrah resident's counterpart
A sodomite is a person who engages in sodomy—historically, anal intercourse, though the term has expanded to cover various sexual acts deemed "unnatural" by religious or legal tradition.
The word derives from the biblical city of Sodom, destroyed for its inhabitants' wickedness.
Now dated and offensive when applied to gay men, it persists mainly in religious condemnation or historical legal contexts: The colonial statute prescribed death for sodomites.
