GNP
Economy size measure
GNP stands for gross national product—the total value of goods and services produced by a country's citizens, whether at home or abroad.
It differs from GDP (gross domestic product), which measures production within a country's borders regardless of who produces it.
GNP was once the standard measure of economic output but has largely been replaced by GDP in policy discussions.
