Father Ted

Father Ted is a British-Irish sitcom (1995–1998) about three Catholic priests exiled to a remote parish on fictional Craggy Island off the west coast of Ireland.

The show's humor derives from the priests' incompetence, petty squabbles, and surreal situations.

That's very Father Ted suggests something absurdly Irish-Catholic or farcically provincial.

The title character, played by Dermot Morgan, became iconic in British and Irish comedy.
