Eid prayer
Holiday morning congregation
Eid prayer is the special congregational prayer performed by Muslims on the two major Islamic holidays: Eid al-Fitr (marking the end of Ramadan) and Eid al-Adha (the Festival of Sacrifice).
The prayer is typically held outdoors or in large gathering spaces in the morning, followed by a sermon and communal celebration: Thousands gathered in the park for Eid prayer.
