deluxe edition
Fancy special release
A deluxe edition is an upgraded version of a product—typically a book, album, or video game—that includes extra content or premium features beyond the standard release.
Book deluxe editions might have better binding, illustrations, or bonus chapters.
Album deluxe editions add unreleased tracks or alternate versions.
Video game deluxe editions bundle downloadable content or early access: I preordered the deluxe edition for the bonus maps.
