Brookfield

Brookfield is a place name for numerous towns and cities across the United States, Canada, and elsewhere—typically suggesting a pastoral setting with a brook running through fields.
It also names several corporations, most notably Brookfield Asset Management, a major Canadian investment firm.
We moved to Brookfield when I was twelve.
