Norwalk
Long Island Sound city
Norwalk is a city name shared by several American municipalities, most notably in Connecticut and California.
The Connecticut city lies on Long Island Sound; the California city is in Los Angeles County.
Norwalk also names a highly contagious gastrointestinal virus (Norwalk virus) first identified after an outbreak at a school in Norwalk, Ohio: Half the cruise ship passengers came down with Norwalk.
