Bedford Falls

Small-town movie setting

Bedford Falls is the fictional small town in the 1946 film *It's a Wonderful Life*, where George Bailey discovers what his community would have become without him.

The name has become shorthand for idealized American small-town life—tight-knit, Main Street values, neighbors who look out for each other: They wanted to raise their kids somewhere that felt like Bedford Falls.
