wrist weights
Forearm fitness bands
Wrist weights are small weighted bands worn around the wrists during exercise to increase resistance and intensify a workout.
They typically contain sand or metal and fasten with velcro.
Used in walking, aerobics, or physical therapy, they add challenge to arm movements without requiring the hands to grip anything: I strap on my wrist weights before my morning walk.
