wonton wrappers
Thin pasta squares
Wonton wrappers are thin sheets of dough used to enclose fillings for wontons and similar dumplings.
Made from flour, egg, and water, they come in small squares or circles, sold stacked in packages at Asian grocery stores.
The wrappers can be folded around meat or vegetables, then boiled, steamed, or fried: I picked up some wonton wrappers to make potstickers.
