white cockatoo
Crested Australian bird
A white cockatoo is any of several species of cockatoo with predominantly white plumage, native to Australia and nearby islands.
The umbrella cockatoo and sulphur-crested cockatoo are among the most familiar.
White cockatoos are popular as pets for their intelligence and affectionate nature, though they're notoriously loud and demanding: The white cockatoo screamed every time we left the room.
