voice vote
Ayes and nays
A voice vote is a voting method where members call out "aye" or "no" simultaneously, with the presiding officer judging which side is louder.
It's quick but imprecise, used for routine matters or when the outcome seems clear: The amendment passed on a voice vote.
Unlike a roll call, individual positions go unrecorded.
