Kindle
Paperless library device
Kindle is Amazon's electronic reading device, introduced in 2007, which displays books and other text on a screen.
The name borrows from the verb meaning to ignite—suggesting the spark of reading or ideas.
By extension, Kindle refers to the broader ecosystem of e-books and apps: I bought it on Kindle, reading on my Kindle app. (Lowercase kindle means to start a fire or spark interest.)
