versos
Books' left pages
Versos is the plural of verso, the left-hand page of an open book—the back of a leaf.
In publishing and bibliography, versos bear even page numbers, while rectos (right-hand pages) bear odd numbers.
The term comes from Latin for "turned," since you turn the page to see its verso.
