unacceptance
Denial of approval
Unacceptance is the state of not accepting something—a refusal to acknowledge, approve, or come to terms with a situation or idea.
The word appears occasionally where rejection or nonacceptance might serve better: His unacceptance of the diagnosis delayed treatment.
It suggests passive resistance rather than active refusal.
