twopence

Minimal British coinage

Twopence is a British sum of two pennies, now largely historical.

The word appears mainly in idioms: something not worth twopence has little value; twopence worth (or tuppence worth) is a small contribution to a discussion, often unsolicited.

Pronounced "tuppence," which is also an alternate spelling.
