truth-seekers
Those pursuing reality
Truth-seekers are people who actively pursue truth, especially regarding hidden, suppressed, or contested information.
The term often carries a self-congratulatory edge—those who use it tend to position themselves as independent thinkers cutting through official narratives: Truth-seekers question the mainstream media.
In practice, truth-seeker communities often gravitate toward conspiracy theories, alternative medicine, or fringe beliefs, treating skepticism of institutions as virtue regardless of where the evidence actually points.
