dogmatists
Inflexible opinion holders
Dogmatists are people who assert their beliefs as absolute truths, unwilling to consider alternatives or entertain doubt.
The term carries negative connotations—dogmatists don't just hold strong opinions, they hold them rigidly and expect others to accept them without question: The dogmatists on both sides made compromise impossible.
