trapline
Series of snares
A trapline is a series of animal traps set along a route, typically checked regularly by a trapper: He ran his trapline every morning before dawn.
The term extends to the path or territory itself.
In hockey slang, a trapline is the defensive zone where a team employs a trap strategy to intercept opponents.
