toe-in
Front wheels angled
Toe-in is the slight inward angling of a vehicle's front wheels, where the fronts point toward each other more than the rears do.
This alignment setting affects steering response and tire wear: The mechanic adjusted the toe-in to reduce uneven tread wear.
The opposite condition is toe-out.
Toe-in also appears in audio, where speakers are angled toward the listening position.
