timbale
Molded savory custard
A timbale is a drum-shaped mold used to shape food, or the dish prepared in such a mold—typically a mixture of meat, fish, or vegetables bound with egg or sauce and baked: chicken timbale, rice timbale.
In percussion, timbales are a pair of shallow single-headed drums played with sticks, prominent in Latin music.
