thought-leaders
Experts shaping discourse
Thought-leaders are people recognized as authorities in a particular field, whose ideas shape how others think about that subject.
The term appears constantly in business and tech contexts, often as self-promotion: She positioned herself as a thought-leader in sustainable fashion.
The label carries a whiff of marketing jargon—genuinely influential thinkers rarely need to announce it.
