A tension headache is a common type of headache characterized by dull, pressing pain on both sides of the head, often described as a band tightening around the skull.
Unlike migraines, tension headaches typically lack throbbing, nausea, or sensitivity to light.
They're usually triggered by stress, poor posture, or muscle tension in the neck and shoulders: I get tension headaches when I've been staring at screens all day.
