eyestrain
Screen-induced visual fatigue
Eyestrain is fatigue or discomfort in the eyes from prolonged use—reading, screen time, driving, or working in poor light.
Symptoms include soreness, dryness, blurred vision, and headaches.
After eight hours at the computer, the eyestrain was brutal.
Rest and proper lighting usually resolve it.
