technocentric
Centered on machines
Technocentric describes a worldview or approach that places technology at the center of solutions, progress, or understanding.
A technocentric perspective assumes technological innovation can solve most problems—environmental, social, or economic: Their technocentric approach ignored the human factors involved.
The term often carries a skeptical edge, implying overreliance on technical fixes at the expense of other considerations.
