t-shirt cannon
Halftime apparel launcher
A t-shirt cannon is a pneumatic launcher used to shoot rolled-up t-shirts into crowds at sporting events, concerts, and rallies.
The device typically resembles an oversized bazooka or tube, powered by compressed air.
Cheerleaders, mascots, or promotional staff fire them into stadium stands to distribute free merchandise: The mascot loaded the t-shirt cannon and aimed at the upper deck.
