swag bag

Event giveaway bundle

A swag bag is a bag of free promotional items given to attendees at events, conferences, or awards shows.

The contents—branded merchandise, samples, gift cards—are meant to generate goodwill and publicity: The conference swag bag included a water bottle, notebook, and discount codes.

Also called a goodie bag or gift bag.
