halftime show
Break with performers
A halftime show is entertainment performed during the intermission of a sporting event, especially American football.
The term most often refers to the Super Bowl halftime show, an elaborate production featuring major musical acts that draws viewers who don't otherwise watch the game: I only tuned in for the halftime show.
