coat check
Lobby attendant service
A coat check is a service, usually at restaurants, theaters, or event venues, where attendants store guests' coats and bags during their visit.
The term also refers to the physical location where this happens and the ticket you receive to reclaim your belongings: I left my umbrella at the coat check.
Also called a cloakroom, especially in British English.
