sublessee
Tenant's own tenant
A sublessee is a person who rents property from someone who is themselves a tenant rather than the owner.
The original tenant (the sublessor) remains responsible to the landlord while the sublessee pays rent to them: The sublessee moved in after I got transferred but kept my lease intact.
