assignee
Duty's designated recipient
An assignee is a person or entity to whom rights, property, or responsibilities are legally transferred.
In contracts and intellectual property, the assignee receives what the assignor gives up: The patent assignee now controls all licensing rights.
In project management and software, an assignee is simply whoever a task is assigned to: Make sure every ticket has an assignee.
