grantee
Funded party legally
A grantee is the person or entity that receives something through a grant—property, money, or rights.
The term appears most often in legal and real estate contexts: The deed names the buyer as grantee.
In grant funding, the grantee is the recipient of awarded funds.
The opposite is grantor.
