stand easy
Parade ground permission
Stand easy is a military command allowing troops to relax from attention while remaining in place.
It permits more freedom than "stand at ease"—soldiers may move slightly, shift weight, or talk quietly.
The phrase extends to any situation where someone is told to relax: Stand easy, everyone—the inspection's been postponed.
