Soyboy is an insult for a man perceived as weak, effeminate, or lacking traditional masculinity.
The term emerged from online culture and pseudoscientific claims that soy consumption raises estrogen levels, supposedly feminizing men.
It's used dismissively against men seen as overly sensitive, politically progressive, or physically unimposing: Look at this soyboy with his man bun and oat milk latte.
