snuffer
Candle light ender
A snuffer is a device for extinguishing candles, typically a small metal cone on a handle that cuts off oxygen to the flame: She used the brass snuffer to put out the tapers.
Snuffers can also mean a scissor-like tool for trimming candle wicks.
A snuffer may be someone who snuffs—extinguishes something or, in darker slang, kills.
