snow tire
Cold weather wheel
A snow tire is a vehicle tire designed for traction on snow and ice.
Snow tires have deeper treads and softer rubber compounds that stay flexible in cold temperatures.
Many drivers swap them on seasonally: Time to put the snow tires on before winter hits.
Also called winter tires.
