slackers
Those avoiding work
Slackers are people who avoid work or effort, coasting through responsibilities with minimal engagement.
The term carries mild contempt—slackers aren't rebels with a cause, just people who can't be bothered: The group project fell apart because half the team were slackers.
In the 1990s, slacker became associated with Generation X and a certain aimless, ironic detachment from mainstream ambition.
