sketchbook
Artist's blank pages
A sketchbook is a book of blank pages for drawing, typically bound with paper suitable for pencil, ink, or light media.
Artists use sketchbooks to practice, develop ideas, and record observations: She filled sketchbooks with studies of hands and faces.
The term suggests informal, exploratory work rather than finished pieces.
