sidearm throw
Horizontal arm delivery
A sidearm throw is a throwing motion where the arm moves roughly parallel to the ground rather than over the shoulder.
Common in baseball for infielders making quick plays, and in various sports where a low, horizontal release provides advantages in speed or angle: He made a sidearm throw from shortstop to beat the runner.
